Featured Speaker: Kathleen Bart
Kathleen is currently a
full time author/illustrator, as well as a teaching artist
with the Nassau and Suffolk BOCES Arts in Education program
on Long Island. Her dynamic "A Tale
of Two Teddies" school program has been aired nationally
on C-Span Book TV and on CBS News Sunday Morning. As a visiting
author, she has presented her programs in schools, libraries,
and museums (including The Smithsonian) nationwide. Her books
include: A Tale of Two Teddies Celebrating the history of the
teddy bear, Global Gourmet A multicultural cookbook, and Town
Teddy & Country Bear a retelling of a classic Aesop fable.
