UPDATES --Winter 2013
Dear Colleagues,
It’s that time again … for the LILAC May Workshop/Luncheon. The luncheon will be held on May 17, 2013 at Captain Bill's in Bayshore from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Our featured author, Matt Pasca, will present a workshop entitled, “Our Common Core.” Poet and teacher Matt Pasca reaffirms what the word CORE really means to lovers of language and education. Through original poetry and personal anecdotes, Mr. Pasca will seek to celebrate the power of vulnerability and connection as pedagogical tools no state standardization can measure or minimize. To words, to reflection, to passion!
Please complete the registration form in the attachment. If you have questions regarding the luncheon, please contact Valerie Vacchio, LILAC Secretary, at vvacchio@obenschools.org or call 516-624-6547.
Please note that LILAC does not accept purchase orders.
We hope you can join us for this informative workshop in the lovely setting on the waterfront at Captain Bill's.
Warmly,
Valerie Vacchio
LILAC Secretary
